Projects-based BIM Revit Architecture Modelling Advanced
In this Revit Architecture Advanced Training Course, engineers will further explore the different modelling features and tools used to create more sophisticated Architecture elements.

This course will impart the knowledge and skills for aspiring and existing professionals in the Built Environment to create advanced architectural models in Revit. This course is suitable for learners who have completed Ace Industrial Academy's Revit Architecture basic course. The course trains learners to create complex architectural building elements such as slanted walls, angled mullions, customized panels, spiral stairs, ramps and railings. Learners will also acquire advanced modelling strategies and techniques to create custom families, and prepare for situations where default family libraries are inadequate. Next, learners will extract information from the architectural models for the creation of shop drawings and documentations, which is a critical skill for disseminating model information to project stakeholders and for authority submissions. Lastly, learners will present the final aesthetics of their projects through architectural rendering with the use of software tools such as Revit and 3dsMax.

LO1: Apply advanced modelling strategies and techniques to create slanted walls, curtain walls with angled mullions and customized panels
LO2: Apply advanced modelling strategies and techniques to create alcove ceiling
LO3: Apply advanced modelling strategies and techniques to create custom doors
LO4: Apply advanced modelling strategies and techniques to create spiral stairs, custom railings and carpark ramps
LO5: Create architectural shop drawings from Revit BIM model in adherence to the International Standard Organisation (ISO) and Singapore Standards (SS)
LO6: Create rooms, room tags, room boundaries and colour scheme
LO7: Add shop drawings and model to Title Block
LO8: Export architectural Revit model to IFC, DWG, and PDF for submission purposes
LO9: Select suitable 3D modelling software for creating and rendering architectural designs
LO10: Perform rendering techniques using 3dsMax and Revit
Recommended for individuals with at least a Diploma in a relevant course of study (i.e. engineering or architecture)
English language proficiency at GCE ‘O’ level of C6 and above, or WSQ Workplace Literacy skills of Level 6 and above.
Possess basic information and communication technology (ICT) skills.
Learners who do not qualify in terms of education but have the relevant working experience will be admitted on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by our management.
