This course introduces Built Environment Professionals to the new CORENET X Regulatory Approval Process for Building Works. Learn more on the transformation from plans submission to different regulatory authorities to a concurrent submission.

Course Overview

This course will equip Built Environment Professionals with the knowledge for navigating the new regulatory approval process for building works (RABW). In this class, learners will be taken through the new 3-gateway submission process, the requirements at each gateway, joint-submission, plan processing, and RABW's supporting mechanisms. Learners will work on case studies for practical application of agency and gateway requirements. The class is wrapped up with a preview of the submission portal and an interactive quiz.

LO1: Explain the key differences between the current and new regulatory landscape
LO2: Identify the technological enablers of CORENET X
LO3: Interpret and determine the type of work activities at each submission gateway
LO4: Articulate the key requirements at each gateway

Entry Requirements

English language proficiency at GCE ‘O’ level of C6 and above, or WSQ Workplace Literacy skills of Level 6 and above.
Proficient with the use of a Windows-based computer for work.
