Course Overview
Projects-based BIM Revit Fire Protection Modelling will impart the knowledge and skills for aspiring and existing professionals in the Built Environment to create Fire Protection (FP) Building Information Modelling (BIM) models and detail drawings in Revit.
In this course, learners will build on their fundamental knowledge from Revit Basic, and focus on key functions of Revit for creating FP models. They will learn to establish the settings of a few FP model file, create fire protection components and layouts, and create custom FP elements. Learners will then generate schedules and views from their FP models for the preparation of shop drawings or BIM e-submission.
Course Curriculum
LO1: Read and visualise fire protection systems, elements, and technical drawings
LO2: Set-up configurations for fire protection model files.
