This OpenBuildings Course provides Built Environment professionals with the knowledge and skills to prepare an OpenBuildings model for CORENET X submission.

Learners will receive an overview of CORENET X, navigate the IFC-SG Starter Kit, and learn how to use the Starter Kit through a step-by-step process to export their BIM model from OpenBuildings to IFC-SG.

The course focuses on the practical preparation of an IFC-SG model from OpenBuildings, helping learners understand the steps required for a CORENET X submission.

  • LO2. Explain the purpose of all files within the IFC-SG starter kit

  • LO3. Extract the relevant information from IFC-SG mapping table for submissions to various authorities

  • LO5. Embed relevant IFC-SG definition into an OpenBuilding model

  • LO6. Add values to Object’s Entity and Properties

  • LO7. Check IFC-SG parameter information with schedules from OpenBuildings

  • LO8. Check and modify georeferencing of existing model to meet requirements for CORENET X submission
