The buildingSMART Professional Certification – Foundation Level is designed for professionals who are either already involved in, or transitioning into, digital construction workflows. This course provides a basic-level understanding. It enables participants to grasp key concepts, terminology, and workflows related to openBIM and collaborative virtual environments.

A basic understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) concepts and terminology
Relevant experience in the architecture, engineering, construction, or facilities management industry
Familiarity with at least one BIM software application is recommended
Proficiency in English (for both training materials and the certification exam)
A willingness to engage in collaborative and open data workflows
