IFC for BIM Data Exchange and Collaboration Training course overview
This course is intended to help building professionals in Singapore gain better knowledge about how to create, maintain and exchange BIM models that meet local interoperability standards. We seek to improve user knowledge about IFC exchange, as well as current IFC export/import capabilities and limitations. Users will also learn about the tools available to them, such as the IFC-SG mapping table, information manual, and configuration files, which will facilitate users in the preparation and submission of plans in IFC-SG. At the end of the course, we seek to improve the quality of IFC files submitted to the authorities for automated code checking, thereby increasing productivity of BIM teams by reducing the amount of rework.
